Located in the heart of mid-town Kansas City, Highland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been serving the needs of their community for over 20 years. Specializing in skilled nursing care, chronic mental illness, and dementia care, Highland works with the individualized needs of each of our residents to assure that they receive the specialized services they deserve. In addition, we offer our Strides Behavioral Program, designed to provide individual therapeutic programming and intervention to meet the needs of resident’s behaviors and cognitive functioning deficits.
What we do there:
Highland Nursing and Rehabilitation incorporates into our care giving team professional rehabilitation opportunities including physical, occupational and speech therapies. In addition to specially trained nursing personnel, Highland offers case management, housekeeping, laundry, barber/beauty and social services. We are aware of the importance that recreation provides to the overall outcomes for our residents, therefore we strive to develop activity programming that is both meaningful and fun for our residents.
