The ONE to ONE Challenge tutoring program is an opportunity to dramatically improve the educational outcomes of the children in the Kansas City community.

As tutors in this effort, we are asking you for ONE hour, ONE day a week to work with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade students ONE on ONE in reading.  Please feel free to recruit your friends, family, & co-workers to join you.

In order to participate as a tutor, all volunteers 18 and older must fill out a form granting permission for the Upper Room/Swope Corridor Renaissance to complete a Background Check.  Attached is a copy of that form.  Once the background check is complete, you are eligible.
